As a worship team, we exist in order to be a means by which Hope Baptist Church's mission is fulfilled. We seek to fulfill the mission in every way we can through the songs we sing, the music we play, and the lives we live; we are worshippers of God. We must continually lift our talents, voices, and instruments to Him-connecting with God. Yet as lead worshipers we have the responsibility to lead others into fellowship with God. If we go into God's presence alone, then we haven't been effective leaders; we've failed to do our job. We cannot make people worship God, but we can create an environment in which people will feel welcome and encouraged to worship Him.
